The best way to use Pebble with your students

  1. 1
Start with Whole Class Discussion. Help your students learn the tools, the game flow and the strategies for earning points. No scoring in this mode.
  2. 2
Next, use Multiple Choice Competition to build independence in placing the pebble.Scoring: 5 points for the right choice, 2 points for the second closest choice, 0 for any other.
  3. 3
Finally, try Pebble Placement Competition when your students are getting good at Multiple Choice Competition.Scoring: 10 points for a pebble on the spot, 1 point less for each 1% away from the correct spot (10% or more away earns 0). A right “doesn’t belong” call earns 5.
  4. Diamonds are handed out at the end of the session. Everyone’s points add up, and the top players earn diamonds. The more rounds you play (up to 10), the more diamonds are handed out. PRO Students earn diamonds to spend in the Pebble Store with ZoodleBug Pro. The leaderboard is free for everyone.
